§ 01

Ethics & Research Governance

MMSx Authority adheres to international research and clinical ethics standards across all registered investigations, framework development activities, and published outputs. Participant safety and scientific credibility are non-negotiable institutional values.

All research outputs are transparently labelled by peer-review status. No premature clinical claims are made. Pre-registered Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) are locked before data collection begins. Independent statisticians verify all primary analyses.

§ 03

Five Governance Principles

  • Scientific Integrity: Conservative inference, biomechanical grounding, no premature clinical claims
  • Participant Protection: Privacy, safety, and informed consent at all scales of investigation
  • Transparency of Status: All outputs labelled — Active · Preliminary · Preprint · Peer-Reviewed
  • Data Governance: Anonymised, never sold, institutional access only — open datasets via DOI
  • Responsible Interpretation: Supports professional decision-making; does not replace licensed clinical judgment
§ 04

Independent Safeguards

  • Pre-registered SAP locked before any data collection begins
  • Open public datasets independently verifiable (OSF DOI: 10.17605/OSF.IO/F87N2)
  • Multi-site data collected by independently employed assessors
  • Independent statistician verifies all primary analyses
  • Parallel submission to external independent journals (JOSPT/BJSM pipeline)
  • Conflict of interest disclosed on every publication
